Early Years & Key Stage 1

Many class-teachers of children in early years and key stage 1 feel fairly confident about teaching music even if they are not a music-specialist.

They enjoy being able to construct their own lessons drawing on the 6000+ digital learning resources this website offers. The resources are tagged to themes such as Ancient Egypt, the Tudors, Oceans, Animals (and mini-beasts), Transport, Weather, Food etc., so teachers can always find a music resource to support a cross-curricular topic.

Since the introduction here of several pre-built lesson modules, many teachers have found the Musitrax Sing lesson modules an invaluable source of material and a means of developing an understanding (if they weren’t already aware) of the principles of Kodály training.
